Using, a gift/loyalty card can have a significant impact on merchandise sales. You can also use this for many other types of promotions.
To get started, you need a company that can provide you with a machine to track the gift cards and loyalty points. You then need to design a gift card. The gift card is the same size as a credit card.
Your members will carry this card around in their wallets and be continuously reminded of your school and even purchase merchandise from you. When someone gets started, we give them a gift card with 50 points already added. Then for every dollar they spend, we add a point to their card. Once they reach 100 points, they get $10 added to the card that they can use on their next purchase. So all they have to spend is $50. What did I encourage them to do? Simple! To spend $50 to get the $10 credit. Now they have the $10 credit, and they’ll want to purchase something else so that they can use their $10 credit. This technique works like a charm.
Here’s a partial list of some of the ways you can use the Gift/Loyalty Card:
- As an incentive to Enroll
- As an incentive to buy merchandise
- Check-In on Facebook
- Recommend someone to the School
- Buy someone a Gift Card
- Spend another $5 and you’ll earn your $10 (helps increase product sales
- A Friend enrolls gets $50 added to your Gift/Loyalty Card
- Offer Double points on Products sales during the year
- Add points if they attend a Workshop
- Add points if they make a set number of classes that month
This is just a partial list. I’m sure you can think of many ways that you can use this in your school.
